Failure to Remain Penalties
Failure to Remain penalties are some of most aggressive that can be found in the Highway Traffic Act. They include:
1. Seven (7) Demerit Points penalty
2. A fine of up to $2,500*
3. Imprisonment up to six (6) months
4. Driver’s licence suspension for up to two (2) years
